How to make a QR code for a menu
- Put your menu PDF on Google Drive, Dropbox or your website, and set sharing to “Anyone with the link”.
- Paste the link here and add your colours and logo.
- Open Print templates, choose a table tent or table cards, print, then test on a phone that isn’t signed in to your account.
Tips for a code that scans every time
- Prices change, so plan for it: Google Drive’s “Manage versions” replaces the file without changing its link. Or use an editable code from a free account.
- Keep the PDF small and use large text. People read it on a phone, often on mobile data.
- Keep a few printed menus for guests who don’t have a phone or prefer paper.
- Add your WiFi code to the table too, so guests with a weak signal can still open the menu.
Questions and answers
Can I change the menu without reprinting the codes?
Yes. Keep the same link and replace the file behind it, for example with “Manage versions” on Google Drive. With an editable code you can also point it at a new link at any time.
Do you host my menu?
No. Your menu stays in your own storage or on your website, so you can update or remove it whenever you like.
Can I print table cards?
Yes. After you create the code, open Print templates and choose a table tent or 4 cards per page. You can change the heading and colours, then print or save as PDF.
