Tips for a code that scans every time
- For in-person events keep the default: the time shows exactly as you entered it, wherever the phone is.
- For online events, tick the online option so each person sees the time in their own time zone.
- Support differs between phones. Many offer “Add to calendar” straight from the camera; others show the event as text or need a QR scanner app.

What format does the code use?
The standard iCalendar (VEVENT) format used by Apple Calendar, Google Calendar and Outlook.
Will it work for all my guests?
Most modern phones handle calendar codes, but not all. Test with a couple of different phones, and print the date and time next to the code as well.
