How to make a QR code for your app
- Paste your App Store link, your Google Play link, or both.
- Optionally pick colours and a dot style, and add your logo.
- Download the PNG or SVG, test it with an iPhone and an Android phone, then print or share it.
Tips for a code that scans every time
- Copy each link from your app’s own store page, so it opens the right app.
- Test the code with both kinds of phone before you print it.
- Tell people what they’ll get. A frame that says “Get our app” works well.
- Print the code at least 2 × 2 cm (0.8 × 0.8 in).
Questions and answers
How does one code open two different stores?
With both links, the code holds a short pinpointqr.com link. It sees which phone scanned it and sends people straight to the right store. A computer sees a small page with both stores.
Do you store my app details?
No. Both store IDs are inside the code itself, so nothing is saved on our server and you don’t need an account.
What if I only have one store link?
Then the code goes straight to that store, without passing through our site.
Can I see how many people scan it?
Yes. Use “Make it editable” with a free account, and you’ll see scans, devices and places in Analytics.
Does the code expire?
No. A code with one store link doesn’t depend on our site at all. A code with both links keeps working for as long as this site runs.
