How to make a business page with a QR code
- Add your business name, then any of: phone, WhatsApp, email, website, address, opening hours and more links.
- Press “Create my page”. It needs a free account, and your QR code appears straight away.
- Download the code, test it with your phone, then print it on your door, counter, flyers or vehicles.
Tips for a code that scans every time
- Fill in only what customers need. Empty boxes don’t appear on the page.
- Write opening hours with one line for each day or group of days.
- New hours or a new number? Edit the page, and your printed codes stay the same.
- Open Analytics to see how many devices scanned it, where and when.
Questions and answers
What can I put on the page?
Your business name, a short description, a colour, phone, WhatsApp, email, website, address, opening hours and up to 20 more links. We don’t host images, videos or files, but you can link to them.
What do people see when they scan it?
A small page with a button for each thing you added: call, WhatsApp, email, website, directions and save contact. Your opening hours and address appear below the buttons.
How does “Save contact” work?
It gives the phone a contact card with your business name, phone, email, website and address, so people can add you to their contacts.
Do I need an account?
Yes, a free one. The page is stored on our site, so it needs an owner who can change or delete it.
Is what I type public?
Yes. Anyone who scans the code or has the link can see the page, so only add details you’re happy to share with customers.
How long does the page stay online?
For 365 days, and renewing is free: press “Renew for 365 days” in My QR codes whenever you like. We email you 30 days and 7 days before the end. After the end date visitors see a short message, and you can still renew it for 90 days. If you pause it, visitors also see a short message.
Can I see who scanned it?
You can see totals: scans, unique devices, device types, cities and times. We don’t keep IP addresses or any record of individual people.
